It was a perfectly cool late summer evening, and we were working on some lovely warm items last night!
Carol brought in the baby set she recently completed:
Jeanne had her gorgeous (and resized for larger child) Tulips sweater:
And Claire had her Red Scarf contribution:
Finally, I finished weaving all the ends on my Tulips sweater:

Local Event in October!
On October 20, the Bishop Hill Fiber Guild will hold their annual event of workshops and lectures. The event encompasses all forms of fiber arts: felting, knitting, crochet, spinning, weaving, etc.
The fee is $10 (pre-event) and day of the event is $12. This fee covers most of the workshops/lectures. There are a few workshops where kits are bought separately (no more than $10, I believe). Lunch can be eaten on-site, for $6 per person.
There's also vendors of all sorts at the event.
Finally, the event will be at Black Hawk College - East Campus in Kewanee.
I will have copies of the registration information and forms this Wednesday, at SnB. If you can't make it to SnB, drop me an email.
A few of us went last year and had a blast! Several of us plan on going this year, so if you'd like to make it an SnB outing, let me hear from you!

SnB Gathering - September 5, 2007
Another great group showed up last night - as ususal, we took over Dewey's Cafe:
Christina brought in her finished crocheted plastic shopping bag. Not sure how much weight it will hold, it's an experiment in progress:
Julie brought in her finished wee aran sweater from the workshop:
She also brought in her finished Norwegian mittens:
Finally, her Wallaby sweater:
FINAL ITEM: Please note that "last Monday" activities are suspended until after the holidays this year. We'll start up again in January 2008. Thanks!
