It was a small, but rowdy, group last night. Just a few FOs present...
Katie tried to use up the rest of her Party yarn from the ring pillow she made:
Brenda finished a pair of socks:

Bishop Hill Fiber Guild - Spin In 2007
Do you remember last year's excitement at this event? We returned for more fun!
While we didn't get lost like we did last year, we did stop to verify we were headed in the right direction. When we got to the site, we scattered either to classes we wanted to take or to go shopping. Jeanne and I opted for shopping first. Then after lunch (where some of us did more shopping), we attend the same class for making beaded stitch markers.
We had mascots.
And sharp tools.
Then we get stitch markers!
Brenda and Nancy won door prizes, and Christina won second place for her hat - congratulations guys!
Finally, more shopping and then our photo before departing.
This is Char, who was my main contact for this event.
Thanks to Char for her help and to everyone who went, it was a great time!

October 10, 2007 Gathering
It's been a while since FOs showed up here, so let's get to it!
Ginny brought in a halter she knit and was able to wear the last incredibly stupidly hot day (in October - 90F degrees!) we had on October 7; it looks like she was quite comfortable in it!
Jennifer worked on a poncho for her child, in Caron Simply Soft yarn (crocheted):
Meanwhile, Claire is working on a steel yarn project from Habu Textiles:
Christina finished her crocheted hat:
And she showed off her lovely crocheted poncho/snuggle blanket:
Finally, some items I completed recently:
You can find the booties pattern over here (on the right under "Free Patterns").
