April Projects!

We've a couple of April FOs - the first being Claire's gorgeous Noro Chirimen sweater for her spouse (it's going to be a Christmas gift - she's got the jump on all of us this year!):




And here's Claire helping Jeanne (on the left) hold up Jeanne's finished sock yarn blanket - the colors combination is even more amazing in person:




Finally, Lynn Baery brought in her lovely felted bag!

Last March gathering and First April gathering 2009

There was a finishing party at my digs on the last Saturday of March - and there was a prize to be given out for the most items finished, it would go to Jill! Look at all the stuff she cranked out:














Meanwhile, Heidi finished a crocheted baby dress:






At the first April gathering, we had many finished objects. I believe this lovely blanket was Barb's (if not, let me know so I can correct my faulty memory!) I've got the correct mystery knitter! It's Lynn Baery!




And Lynn Buettner had beautiful baby blanket done:






Heidi had a few more items finished by this gathering. A small holder made out of a plastic tower for blank CDs, crocheted around the top:






Heidi also had made some soap holders, which the Soap Box in Davenport is now selling!




She also had a lovely wee hand bag:






And finally, a beautiful knit scarf with cables - the picture unfortunately washes out the cable details:




Finally, our Jill finished up a shawl while at the gathering last week:
