Finally! The Back End of January!
January is like the marathon month in winter. Luckily, there's knitted and crocheted items to distract us!
Gretchen had some adorable wee baby mitts:
Our Lynn (Buttner) had a wonderfully cheerful and warm blanket:
And the trio, Barb, Lynn, and Carol had hats they knit in a class:

Knit and Knot, Bettendorf IA - Open For Business!
I almost drove off the road when I saw the wee "Open" sign in the window!
This is a "soft" open as Joy and her husband Jotham are getting supplies in and shelving built. Joy is expecting their first child in March!
And while some things are on back order, Joy still has many lovely things in the shop and the layout is very nice:
I may have accidentally-on-purpose bought a few items:
In addition to being a crocheter, Joy also does lace tatting:
Joy said that she and Jotham plan to grow old with the shop, they're not looking to go anywhere else in the community. Great news for our area!
